I'm super excited and proud to announce that I have been awarded "Mama Must Have" in the The Mum Marketplace Best Breastfeeding Product category for my new style V2 Breastfeeding Clothing Clips. I'm so glad that the judges found my clips helpful and easy to use, and that my designs are making breastfeeding easier for so many mums - here are a few of the judges comments: "I’m really impressed with the breastfeeding clothing clips. Its something that I would have really benefited from when I was BF my 2 children." "Having lots of different designs and not being overpriced is...

T & Belle Wins 2 Mama & Babytots Awards in 2024

I'm super excited and proud to announce that I have won not one, but two Mama & Babytots awards this year for my new style V2 Breastfeeding Clothing Clips. I can still remember getting neck ache trying to trap my top under my chin so that I could latch my little one, then often ending up dropping it onto their head and having to repeat the whole process over again. My breastfeeding clip acts like an extra pair of hands to solve this problem, and because I forget everything - I designed it to be worn on the wrist as...

I first posted this over on my Instagram grid, but I wanted to keep it a bit more visible here as it is so important. This subject is often a little contentious but having received a few messages over the last few months on the subject and seen the 'fed is best' statement mentioned repeatedly on social media recently, I thought I'd share my viewpoint.I believe that the phrase 'fed is best' and the thinking behind it can be damaging when it is used, as it often is, as a metaphorical sticking plaster for a mother who has found herself considering ending...
The Importance of Good Breastfeeding Support (and why supporting a mothers wishes is not being pushy)
Posted by Bryony Lewis on
I decided to write this because I know an alarming number of mums who felt that they were pushed to stop breastfeeding in the first few weeks after birth and were absolutely devastated at the loss of a journey they really wanted. Many stopped due to advice from doctors or midwives, because of perceived low supply, tongue tie, allergies, medication or pain. They were told things like 'fed is best' or 'happy baby, happy mum' to mask their feelings of loss but the pain and disappointment was still there. In reality, very few women are medically unable to breastfeed (IF they want...
Celebrating Brilliant Breastfeeding Milestones

Boobs are pretty amazing right? I used to be rather underwhelmed by mine, they showed up late to the party (I was flat chested until my mid teens), were significantly smaller than I'd have liked and I could never find a bra that they would fit into nicely. Fast forward to my early 30's, my eldest child was born and suddenly my boobs took on a whole new identity! My magnificent mammaries were now nourishing a tiny new person, providing him comfort, safety, pain relief and protection. My first breastfeeding journey was not without its obstacles, little T struggled to...
